Prevent the molds
You can find some suggestions and product and anti-mold cycle focuses for indoor and outdoor environments.
Biological colonization
Biological colonization refers to the growth of living organisms, such as algae, fungi, lichens and mosses, on wall surfaces.
These organisms proliferate in the presence of humidity, often finding the ideal environment on walls exposed to the elements or in humid areas.
Colonizations can aesthetically damage surfaces, cause degradation of materials and encourage the onset of further problems, sometimes even structural ones.
The removal and prevention of such colonizations require specific treatments, such as the use of biocides.

INDOOR
The mold phenomenon also occurs especially in very humid and condensation-prone indoor environments, such as bathroom and kitchen. Ard Raccanello offers, in its anti-mold line, a series of solutions and cycles to restore indoor environments.
ANTI-MOLD CYCLE FOR INTERIOR
Disinfestation cycle and anti-mold thermal insulation finish
Eliminate mold by applying a concentrated solution spray containing specific broad-spectrum chemical agents. Apply a layer of consolidating insulation appropriately diluted with water, depending on the absorption of the support. Finish with two layers of a heat-insulating water-based paint, designed to minimize the risk of mold reappearance: it prevents the formation of condensation while allowing the wall to breathe.

2. Insulating primer
3. Anti-condensation thermo-insulating finish

OUTDOOR
External facades may be subject to the onset of algae and fungi, which cause aesthetic but also structural degradation of the support.
ANTI-MOLD AND ALGAE CYCLE FOR EXTERIOR
Disinfestation cycle and filling acryl siloxane finish
Disinfest surfaces by applying a concentrated solution containing specific chemical agents to eliminate the presence of biological pollutants (mold, algae, moss and lichens). Apply a high-coverage pigmented primer, specifically designed to prepare the surface for the application of a traditional exterior water-based paint. Apply an anti-algae acrylic-siloxane filling finish in two layers, with excellent filling power, resistance to alkalis and atmospheric agents, high permeability to water vapor and good water repellency.
